The Rueda Stud

A stud with more than 30 years of history

The first mare we acquired to start breeding Purebred Spanish Horses (PRE) in 1991 was a PRE mare named Malvina II, from the Berasaluce stud farm. From here, in time, the Rueda stud, registered in ANCCE (National Association of Purebred Spanish Horse Breeders), was born.

At the beginning we only had a few fat mares, but nowadays we have a PRE horse that won the second prize in a dressage competition in 2019 and a total of 17 PRE mares, both fat and chestnut.

The mares are covered according to the needs of the equestrian centre in order to supply our equestrian school, which has up to four generations of our horses. The animals born of our excellent mares are trained for riding lessons at the school, as well as for riding routes and rides in the countryside. In addition, some of the foals and fillies are sold as dams and for various disciplines.
