Regular horse riding routes and rides in the Sierra Calderona mountain range

If you are passionate about horses and the mountains, at Hípica Rueda you can enjoy pleasant horseback rides, accompanied by a guide, in the surroundings of the Sierra de la Calderona natural park, discovering this wonderful place for nature lovers.
You can also enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides for groups of up to 6 people, visiting the area around La Cartuja, the Llano de Lucas in the Sierra Calderona and personalised routes.
On special occasions we organise horse riding routes under the full moon, as well as half day, full day or weekend excursions on horseback.
We have helmets available for our clients.
We offer tailor-made routes whether you are experienced or inexperienced.
Horse riding routes and rides for inexperienced riders
We have calm horses that are suitable for this type of riding. The routes and rides on horseback will be done with a guide for a first contact with the horse and to acquire basic handling: stopping the horse, making turns and, for the more daring, perhaps try trotting.
The routes and guided horseback rides have a duration of:
- 1 hour excursion (30€).
- 1 hour and a half: 30 min. on track + 1 hour excursion (45€).
- 2 hours: 30 min. on piste + 1 hour and 30 min. excursion (60€).
- 2 hours of excursion (60€).
Routes and horse riding for experienced riders and horseback riders
We have horses suitable for all levels so that you can enjoy your route. Depending on experience, participants can choose between trails to go at a leisurely pace or choose wide paths that allow trotting and galloping.
More experienced riders will be able to do a longer excursion with a stop at one of the mountain springs to rest the horses and have lunch for the riders.
All horse riding routes include:
